2. Information we collect

• Account information — your email address, phone number (used for SMS verification), and the country you connect from.
• Usage data — which features you use, when, and how often. This is needed to run the service and to bill credits accurately.
• Payment information — handled by our payment partners. We do not store your card details.
• Content you submit — handles, queries, focus questions, and other inputs you provide when running reports.

3. How we use your information

• To provide the Wizani service — running searches, building dossiers, monitoring topics, generating certificates, and everything in between.
• To process payments and manage your credit balance.
• To send transactional emails (verification, billing, completed-run notifications). We do not send marketing emails without your separate opt-in.
• To improve the product — typically using de-identified or aggregate signals.
• To meet legal and security obligations (fraud prevention, compliance, abuse handling).

4. Third parties

We work with trusted third-party service providers to operate Wizani — including for hosting, AI processing, payments, email, SMS delivery, and analytics. These providers process your information only on our instructions and are contractually required to handle it securely. We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it with third parties for their independent marketing purposes.

5. Public social media data

Wizani analyses publicly-available content from third-party social media platforms. When you run a report on a creator, brand, competitor, or topic, we fetch what is already public on those platforms and use AI to summarise the patterns. We store the report we generate for you. We minimise retention of raw third-party content beyond what is needed to deliver and display your report.

Wizani is not affiliated with X, TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, Facebook, or any other platform we read from. Our service complies with applicable laws governing the use of publicly-available data, but you remain responsible for how you use any insights you generate (see our Terms of Service).

6. Data retention

We keep your account information and reports for as long as your account is active. You may delete your account or request deletion of your data at any time by emailing info@wizani.ai. We will action deletion requests within 30 days, except where we are required to retain information for legal, accounting, or security reasons.

7. Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to:

• Access the personal information we hold about you
• Correct information that is inaccurate or incomplete
• Request export of your data in a portable format
• Delete your account and the data associated with it
• Object to or restrict certain processing
• Withdraw consent where processing relies on consent

We use essential cookies needed to keep you logged in and to make the service work. We do not use advertising cookies or third-party tracking pixels.

Wizani is a global service. Your information may be processed in jurisdictions outside your home country, depending on where our infrastructure and service providers operate. We rely on recognised safeguards (such as standard contractual clauses) where required by law.

10. Children

Wizani is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 13. If you believe we have, contact us at info@wizani.ai and we will delete it.

11. Security

We take reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your information, including encryption in transit, access controls, and regular security reviews. No internet service is perfectly secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute protection.
